1850 – 1875
- 1850-1852: Travels in Europe, met her Master in London and travelled to Canada, Mexico, South America, West Indies and then to India via the Cape and Ceylon.
- 1853-1857: Travels in India, to America via England, crossed the breadth of North America and back to India via Japan.
- 1858-1859: To Europe via Java and travels in Europe and Russia.
- 1860-1870: Caucasus, Balkans, Egypt, Syria, Italy and was wounded in the battle of Mentana (Nov 3, 1867).
- 1871-1875: To Egypt, shipwreacked near Spetsai (July 4, 1871), Cairo, Middle-East, Europe, New York (landed July 7, 1873) and met HSO in Chittenden, VT.
- 1875: Founded the Theosophical Society on Nov 17, 1875.
